We welcome guests back to the cottage from 12th April (step 2 of the lifting lockdown plan) and we are taking bookings for holidays from that date. Please note that this must be single households until 17th May at the earliest.
Bookings are fully refundable or rebookable (whichever you prefer) if UK government public health measures at the time of your stay mean we remain closed due to Covid-19, or you must cancel because it is unlawful for you to travel and stay in the cottage.
We have extra safety cleaning measures in place with disinfection of hard surfaces and soft furnishings prior to each group arriving, and provision of hand sanitiser and cleaning products for you to use during your stay. As always linens and towels will be washed at a high temperature. We will ask you to strip beds and bag up linen and towels on departure. If you wish to bring your own bedding and towels as an extra precaution please let us know.
We require you to adhere to current government advice/instructions and act within current social distancing and hygiene rules before and during your stay.
Importantly, you must not come to the cottage if you have been, or suspect you have been, exposed to the virus, or you develop symptoms, and must therefore self-isolate at home. If you are unable to come due to the need to self-isolate at home we will offer to re-book your stay for a later date.
Equally, if you show any signs of having the virus during your stay you must immediately self-isolate to minimise any risk of transmission, and seek a test – see this link for the government advice if you fall ill with symptoms while visiting. If the test is positive, government advice is that you must let us know and leave for home immediately if able, avoiding public transport or unnecessary stops on your way home. You may wish to leave the cottage for home immediately after your test to await your result, especially if you are nearing the end of your stay. If you need to leave for this reason we will offer the unused portion of your stay towards a further holiday with us. If you are unable to leave and must self-isolate at the cottage you must bear the cost of any additional stay (again, this is in the government guidelines).
For new bookings our full terms and conditions, including our Covid-19 policy, can be found here. You may wish to take out travel insurance to protect you from any losses associated with you needing to cancel your holiday.
If you have any worries or concerns about your booking or the Covid-19 policies in place please get in touch.
If you would like to book please continue to our How To Book page. We will check the dates in your enquiry and quickly get back to you.
